A Light In Ethereal Night is the 5th studio release from Edison's Children. The band consider this to be the second installment in a trilogy that began with 2011's In The Last Waking Moments. That album told the story of a man distraught after experiencing something he could neither explain nor prove, left suspended between two incendiary possibilities: was his "alien abduction" real or has he descended into madness? The album's final track The Awakening ended without resolution.
